After a few years of skirting the periphery, I've started getting into Unknown Armies. Without an active community for pickup games (the Delta Green fandom is spoiled rotten by N@TO), I'll need to be the one running the show if I want to play. That's fine by me - be the change you want to see in the world.
I'll need some pregenerated checkers for prospective players. Mellonbread already has several excellent examples, but someone beating you to the punch is never a reason to not do something yourself.
The clandestine night doctors of Last Rite, including soon-to-be-disgraced coroner Dr. Howard Phillips, your friendly neighbourhood gravedigger Filch Hildregrin, genderbent Indiana Jones Marianne Argon, and corpse-melting mafioso Theodore Locke.
The outback cameleers of Caravan Palace, starring friendly pilgrim Bunyan Ahmed, gunslinging gearhead Dost Kadir, tortured oracle Moora Cooper, and chronically-online duelist Samrath Singh.
As a bonus post, there's also Connor Mason, my first Delta Green agent converted to Unknown Armies.
If you've got a small or non-combat party, Mason works great as an inobtrusive NPC to shore them up. That's how he was used in my home campaign, until I hurriedly recycled his statblock to play in my very first Delta Green oneshot, back in the halcyon year of 2020. Thanks again to Jilm for running that game, you're the whole reason this blog exists to begin with.
Conversely, you can use Mason as a pregen if you're a real sicko; the kind of depraved player who enjoys watching their character get the shit kicked out of them for no personal gain. Like me.
